Mancini worked with the pair at former club Inter Milan and wants City owner Sheikh Mansour to bankroll a megabucks bid to reunite the trio.
'I would like Maicon,' said Mancini. 'With Ibra there's always been a rapport of great loyalty.
'He's world class. Which manager in the world wouldn't like Ibrahimovic?'
Barcelona's Ibrahimovic has scored 11 goals in 13 games since his summer switch form Inter, while Maicon, 28, is heralded as one of the best full-backs in world football.

'Mancio will change the mentality of the club because he is a great coach,' he said. 'Only the great coaches are able to guide the great players.'
Mancini, who has won his first two games as manager, insists City must finish in the Premier League's top four to attract the best players in the world.
'City is the best club in the world for an ambitious manager. There are very, very good players there but we must improve as it won't be easy to get into the top four.'
